Hello! Scubaboard newbie here! I'm about to make a move to Australia (1 year working holiday visa) and would love to get in touch with anyone who could offer advise on working as a divemaster/instructor while there. I've spent TOO MANY hours online trying to gather basic information including - do dive operators even like to hire temporary instructors with my type of visa, or should I come to terms with the fact that I"ll have to dry out for a year and pick fruit for a job?!

I'm PADI OWSI, have 2 years full time work experience (mainly guiding certs, teaching dsd and open water classes). Besides wondering about my chances of being hired, does anyone know what specific certifications would be required - eg. will my cpr/first aid/oxygen certifications be recognized or will I need to re-take those corurses? Any type of info would be helpful, really!

Thanks for reading! :D
