Does anyone have fins they use strictly for working out in the pool?

If you mean swim (as opposed to diving) fins, I use them.

Right now I am using a pair of Speedo fins - the short stubby ones with a diagonal cut on the end of the fin. I use them during the last 1/3 of my daily swim - I find they have helped a lot with building endurance for my legs.

I am looking into purchasing a pair of blue Zoomers swimfins, which I have heard are especially good. Blue is supposed to be for distance, the reds are for sprints.

Of course, if you are talking about something else totally, just disregard everything I said. :jester:

The local park district pool are very nice about letting me bring in my jetfins & booties to practice kicking. I swim barefoot.
