I am PADI AOW diver looking to take dressel divers IDC course in Playa del Carmen to become instructor and work there for a couple years. Anyone have recommendations or advice? (also let me know if this is in the right place?)

Also I know that PADI requires instructors to bring their own equipment, any recommendations on what to bring? My worry is that I dont want to buy super nice gear to get into trouble with theft or finding replacement parts. (Looking at scubapro s600/mk25 or s55/mk17, a oceanic vt3 or oceanic vt and a scubapro knighthawk bc)
