OK, here is my whine:

My hours were cut, in June, at work. (5 - 10 hours a week) I had a little extra money, so I hung out with the kids over the summer. Just three weeks ago I got a part-time job. I had to tell my old boss I was only available to work certain days. I have now received an ultimatum, from corporate. If I am not available to work all days - all shifts I will have to quit. However, there will be no increase in hours. They just need to be able to schedule me as they need me.
I really enjoy my job & would work a 40 hour week, if I could. However, this job is not a hobby & I need to make a living. Middle managements response is that they do not care about my personal problems, they just require me to be available to work. People are leaving left & right because of mismanagement. I am disgusted with the entire company. At this point the only reason I'm still there is the amazing benefits.

That sucks! Are the bennie's really that good that it's worth the stress? You shouldn't have to put up with that...

Well, I was supposed to let my boss know if I was going to leave my new job. I didn't contact her about it. I was also scheduled to work on Saturday, but gave my shift away. Maybe they think I've already made my choice.
I am planning on keeping both jobs. We'll see what happens. I honestly don't think they will fire me over it. Plus, they are too short staffed now. It wouldn't make any sense to fire me. They'd only be hurting themselves.

Yes, the benefits are great.
