So I did my first doubles dive Sunday in Centeen Park, Brockville, Ontario, in the St Lawrence River.

I had two great buddies to help me out if needed, but I trimmed out well and actually found that twin HP steel 100's are very stable under water. I can reach all the valves easily, too.

Yahoo! And walking around with them up and down stairs and into the water was not anywhere as effortful as I'd been expecting. I've been training a bit for lifting the little beauties, and that's paid off.

Onwards and downwards!

After doubles it's hard to go back to a single. Lazy factor sets in. No need to change out tanks between dives

I did my first dive today with my double LP85s in Lake George. It wasn't great, but wasn't a disaster either. I'd be going along fairly smoothly when occasionally it felt like I had a major weight shift, and things went to hell. I had too much slack in my crotch strap and too much extra weight, which I dumped after a weight check at the end. Round two Friday afternoon...
