Wing inflater hose

I have a Dive Rite wing with a 15" corrugated inflater. For those of you that dive a single tank with a wing and a similar corrugated inflater length, how long is your LP inflater hose? Mine is 26" and too long; just seeing what you use because I don't have my own tank to hook up to in order to measure exactly how long I should use. I think it is strange that they sell a wing with a 15" inflater and a 26" LP hose together.

The inflator hose IS typically supposed to be longer than the corrugated inflator, remember, the inflator hose connects to the 1st-stage, so it has more distance/length to cover than does the corrugated inflator, which only has to 'reach' the elbow/shoulder dump valve portion of your wing. The manufacturer wants to make sure the inflator hose has some extra 'slack' to accomodate variations in the location of 1st-stage reg ports, different size BC harnesses, and it's a lot easier for the diver to deal with a little 'too much' inflator hose length than have it be too short. That being said, it might well be the case YOU might prefer it to be a little shorter, which is fine, but I think you really need to borrow a tank at a local dive shop, mount you BC and your reg, hook everything up exactly as if you were going to go diving, and just seeing/measuring what will work best for you.

That is a bit long.
I'm using a 13" corrugated hose with a 17" LP inflator hose - that setup is prefect setup for me.

I use an 18" Miflex with my Halcyon 30# Eclipse. The corrugated hose is about 14" to the base of the inflator.

My LP inflator hose is also 18", but that's a tad short and when I stop being lazy I'll replace it with a 20".
