Could this be the next BIG reason people will list for why they dive? Have any of you tried this? (i'm sure the answer is yes considering the amount of pics in the gallery) Is there a D.I.R. method to all of this added essential equipment? and if not , would anyone other than me be interested in trying out some different configurations? And most importantly , is this a safe activity while diving? Humor me here.

There's nothing I love more than whacky diving photos. Great find. :D

yep I think this sews it up for me this weekend . a gear bag , 2 bottles , an iron , and a board.
ill stick to a plan of 10m or less for my rookie attempt , would be kinda cool to get one of those nice striper or big flatheads in the ironing process with me , but it'd hardly top the pic of the whaleshark.
while were on these odd underwater pastimes.... surely one of you out there has attempted underwater basketweaving?

It would appear no heat is involved in extreme ironing underwater due to the difficulty of transferring heat to the garment while the water conducts the heat away. So put away your battery cannisters, those are poses.

crispos....are you like serious dude or had too much bad beer??
