Will NL switch back to two way after emergency pressed?

I've read your manual but might of missed this.

After the emergency/DSC/GPS button is pressed, can/does the unit switch back to two way comms on ch16 or the user defined VHS channel? Would help "talk" the rescue unit in the last mile especially at night...I'm off your port/stbd bow or you're N,E,W,S, of me.

BTW after 30 yrs in USCG - I think this product rocks! long time over due.

update - oops - I did miss it - the user can turn off the distress mode to go back to two way calling...
