Hi guys,

I have a quick question for knowledgable Scubapro servicemen :) Will older MK17/19 kit work for MK17 Evo ? Or I need a newer Evo kit.

I have a few mk17 kits and would like to confirm that they will work before taking the reg apart.

Thanks a lot.

Yes it should, the only real change for the EVO was moving the ports, HP straight out rather than the forward tilt and the LP ports are on the radius rather than one over the other.

Thanks a lot , that's what I thought. I guess the rebuild/tuning procedures will be the same as the regular 17.

Correct.
The Service Kit 10.117.045 serves the MK17/MK17 EVO/MK19/SUBGEAR CAYMAN, but the Service Kit for the MK19 EVO is different ( 10.719.045 ).......
Thank you axxel57 ! Mine is 10.117.045. so it looks like we are a go for this "project"!

Just reporting back, the rebuild went well. I just had to tweak a couple of tools. I had to grind my old scubatools socket to be able to tighten the diaphragm properly. Evo apparently has fins sticking out more. Also the seat tool would not fit into the hole - just a tad thicker but a plastic marker case of an appropriate diameter worked fine. The kit had all the parts.

Late to the party, but yes it will as you've discovered,

I have manuals and schematics if you need, but I'm guessing not given you've successfully serviced it, well done by the way,
Simon,

Could I trouble you to send me the MK17 manual (I have the schematics)? As a reminder, my e-mail address is: robert.jacoby@wpiservices.com.

Thanks!!
