Hey All,

Can anyone tell me if the Legend DIN kit for ACD regulators will install properly on a non-ACD Legend? Not looking to convert my Legend to get ACD, just need the DIN connection.

Thanks,

Bob

Everything but the filter should fit. I say this from the experience of rebuilding a grand total of ONE DIN ACD first stage, and everything fit but the filter--I didn't have an ACD kit so I couldn't replace the filter.

Yes.

Yes it will.

Thanks everyone!

Just got the ACD Din Kit today (off ebay ;-)) Looking through the instructions it looks like I'll need a vise .... don't have one, so guess I'll have to go visit the LDS to install :-/ Also while looking through the instructions, it looks like I'll have to install the larger shroud/rubber cover for the larger inlet of the ACD DIN? It also looks like I'll need to install the ACD spring, otherwise the din fitting may not be seated properly?

Thanks,

Bob

You don't need a vise: DA Aquamaster's technique works extremely well: put a piece of rag on the floor, put the reg on it, step on it with one foot, find a proper angle and you can torque/untorque the retainer easily.

You do need a proper sized wrench to undo the yoke retainer nut, I think it's a 26 mm, long jaw.
