hi

i have the olmypus tough 8010 compact camera and the olympus pt 048 housing. i was wondering would your dyron wide angle lens fit and work with my housing; what degree of angle achieved and if much vignetting?

many thanks

Hello mark

Thank you for your interest in DYRON products.
What is the thread size of you housing PT-048 ?
If 67mm you can use DY.WA20M67 underwater angle 20mm.
But i think this housing is M52 or M55mm...

Soon new wide angle lens Dyron (one week) with thread M52 will feat on most of Olympus M52 housing.

Regards

housing is threaded 52-55mm. i think works with 67mm adaptor. i think thats right? not 100% sure sorry

Hello
Of course you can use step up ring from 52 or 55 to 67mm and use 67mm Dyron wide angle and the result will be really good.
Actually we are in development for M52 wide angle version 20mm and 15mm.
They will be ready in about 5 days.

thanks for that would the dyron 0.3 work with my housing? would there be no vignetting and what would the depth of field be? also is it an easy lens to take off and on underwater and attach to lens caddy?
many thanks
