Thanks Uncle Pug,

My guess is a Blenny. But, if so, you got one heck of a camera!

Decorated Warbonnet aka Chirolophis decoratus?

is that the reflection of the camera and flash in it's eye? if so...very cool.

my guess would be a dog shark?

Well, I'm off to a good start. But right now I don't have access to any of my books. Help me out here, everybody!

What do I win? :D

Nice picture UP. Where you wearing the yellow drysuit? I think I can see your drygloves in the reflection.

Yes... that is the reflection of the on-board flash... I am using a 5mp Pentax Optop S50 in a Pentax housing without external strobes.
Just a little point~n~shoot.

All the warbonnets you can eat in one sitting.

No.. I was wearing the blue/back drysuit... the bright spot is the flash the brown streaks are reflections from within the eye.
