Who's diving where this Canada Day weekend?

It is very unpatriotic of me, but I chose to work Thursday, and go diving in the Mackinaw Straits July 2,3,4.....

I'll still be waving a flag, staring at fireworks while hoisting a cold one July 1st, even though the Liberals won last night.....

I am Canadian.

I believe two dive clubs from Ottawa are both meeting at Morrisburg on the St. Lawrence. It's going to be packed with us divers. There will be lots of boat traffic there too. It's going to be interesting. Bring a sausage ( and another for the BBQ )

I'm hoping to dive Thursday, probably afternoon, maybe a night dive. The dive site I have in mind should have a view of fireworks to entertain the kids. Not sure if I can dive on the weekend or not. Coming down to crunch time on refitting our boat as I need it gone from the driveway in 2 weeks.

NorthernMelody and canuckdiver will be coming to Kingston to camp in my backyard and we're going to spend the weekend diving Kingston and the 1000 Islands.

Anyone else wanna join us? The more the merrier!

If the weathers nice for the weekend - then Hope and Beckwith Islands in Georgian Bay. An unfavourable forecast means the boat stays in Simcoe and we'll be searching for an airplane!!!

We'll hope for fair weather for you then.

I know DiveSource is having a family outing at Kirkfield quarry, on their site they have diving, games for kids (big and small), a BBQ, and fireworks at night...The cost is $10 and I think you have to get tickets at DiveSource. I was thinking of going for the dive and probably BBQ and head back into town for fireworks of the liquid kind...

With any luck, I am suppose to work, I will be joining our dive club for a family day. Boney I may see you there.

I'm hoping that Groundhog will be able to dive Thursday so I can join him. ;)
Must work on Saturday but still looking for buddies to go diving on Friday and Sunday in the Guelph area. :D
