I'm watching a show on Discovery about sharks and this guy is snorkeling with Great Whites. He even grabbed onto them and rode them. The sharks never even tried to turn on him. Amazing.

I'm watching it too. That guy is nuts!

Swimming out of a cage into open water to swim with great whites. Then he swims down and grabs the dorsal and lets it pull him along. Sooooo nuts!

Yes, but what a rush. That just toooooooooooo coooooooooooooooool!!!!!!!!!!

Just swimming with a bunch of reef sharks was a rush for me. I can't imagine swimming with whites. That girl almost got bit. Wow! Cool stuff.

I just cought a bit of it while flipping through channels. This show aired a few months ago. I'm not totally convinced by the demonstration with Bob the mannequin. A wooden object covered with rubber isn't going to give off the electrical impulses that a person would so I don't think the sharks were as interested as they might be in a real person.

I do think that the show demonstrates pretty clearly that sharks are not as actively agressive as they have been portrayed in the past.

I also wonder what his life and health insurance companies think of his activities :eyebrow: I wonder also what kind of professional liability premiums he has to pay if one of the divers in the group is injured or killed :06:

Too bad I missed it. Does anyone know when it will be on again? Discovery channel usually repeats their shows.
