Who to dive with in South Africa?

I am going to Durban to dive, who is the best to dive with in that area? Who has the best prices and accomodation? I have mainly been looking at Whaler, Seafever, Umkomaas Lodge and Quo Vadis.
Any information would be very helpful!

Depends on what you want to do - Quo Vadis has a good name, I will be diving with them in May for my Aliwal Shoal dives.

I've dived twice in South Africa - both times with http://www.meridiandive.com/ at Aliwal Shoal. They have moved further up the coast since I was there.
I did my AOW course with them and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. We paused our navigation dive due to two Raggies just the other side of some rocks - cooooool :14:

We stayed in both http://www.cuttysark.co.za/home.htm and http://www.bluemarlin.co.za/index.htm Nice enough hotels but full of old people (it was a Saga hotel) who were up partying way after we'd gone to bed - but then we were up before 6 every morning.

And if you've never done a rib entry through the crashing waves from the beach before, then you're in for a treat. Just make sure you hold on tight. On my first return to the beach we lost two of us. Happy memories.
