Is that a computer program? I have a board, havent played in years and am quite bad at it, but strategy type games do entertain me.

free.

Hi Bigsage,

I am going on a Blackbeards trip the 30th of July, when I return I will be staying in Ft Lauderdale for two nights, Friday the 6th and Saturday the 7th of August.

This will be my first time staying in Ft Lauderdale, I usually stay in Miami, however I was looking for something a bit less superficial.

Anyway, I have a traveling chess set, if you are interested perhaps we could meet somewhere, and play a few games.

I was president of my high school's chess and wargames club, and used to play decently. The last few years, though, I haven't played at all, and I'm sure my game sucks now.

My son is getting old enough to (really) understand the game and is showing interest, so maybe I'll be playing again soon.

Count on it. ;)

I was fortunate to play with a chess master in high school, he would take a minute to my 6 or 7 minutes.

That was about 18 years ago :11: , however I have been playing online for about a year now, and I think you'll find you remember more than you think.

It is an amazing game, so many parallels to life.

I have been playing at: worldchessnetwork.com

Go and watch the masters play, it's free by the way or a membership is reasonable at like 3.95 per month.
