I currently have an SD870 IS and was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a white balance card that will work well with it?

Is there a type made specifically for underwater use? Also will I be able to use the same white balance card on land as well?

A blank slate works pretty well. Just make sure to fill the frame with the slate and try to have the light hit it evenly. I have also had good luck using a buddy's tank or even a clear patch of sand. Also, I did not notice much of a difference in adjusting the white balance below 25-30 feet. Usually I would set it around that depth and leave it alone. Remember to use something like auto white balance in water shallower that 15 feet or so, otherwise your pictures will come out with a red tint.

You might be able to find a 20% gray card that is waterproof if you want something specifically for adjusting white balance but that would just be another thing to carry.

a couple of photographers on my last trip dove with white plastic deconstructed from an empty bottle of 409 on the boat. it worked spectacularly - just cut out the piece of plastic, punch a hole in the corner and attach it to your bc.
