Hello folks, I would like to get a new point & shoot camera with an u/w case ,
I was going to buy the 2013 powershot 280sx from amazon for $200, as it has everything i need, including 20x optical & manual mode for close up photography or fast fish subjects, but i read in the nick of time about its crippling battery life problem
its claimed the camera flashes 'battery low' as soon as you touch the video record button.
from the latest amazon customer reviews this is still not rectified. The (at least 12x) zoom is important so that i can use the camera to get decent shots of the kids in the christmas school play , even if i end up seated at the back of the auditorium
any suggestions for alternatives to the powershot 280sx? thanks
