Hi all,

First post here in a very long time, had to get a new account.

Hopefully I'm getting a new Sealife Micro HD for my birthday, and I can't choose between a couple of lights. Here's what is important to me: good value, photography over video (but both important), use as backup light for night diving. I spent a week with a borrowed DC1400 w/flash, and really liked it. Am I giving up a lot of image color/quality by getting a light instead of a strobe? I figure I'll add a strobe later when funds allow.

Anyone have any advice? Is the extra $50 worth it for the SeaDragon600? Is the new Flex-connect better than the older flexible arm?
