I would like to find out when you travel which connection is most common YORk or DIN?
Which is most common: YOKE or DIN?

In the Carribean I have seen yoke in general. Some tech shops carry DIN.

As far as typical common warm water dive destinations in the Caribbean, Florida, Hawaii, I've only seen yoke. Same for my handful of trips to the Indo-Pacific (Yap and liveaboards in Palau, Maldives, Australia.) Aside from ops catering to tech, I think you're more likely to see DIN in places more frequented by European divers. But they will typically have converters available.

In oz yoke is the most common by a country mile, however i have yet to find an operator that does not have some din tanks or the facility to accomodate din regs.

Well, you didn't list it, but I'd say the "yoke" is the most common.
But I prefer the DIN.

I've only seen yoke at GOM and Caribbean resorts. Some shops have DIN tanks that you can rent from them.

If you are asking this because you are considering a new first stage regulator, I suggest a DIN regulator with a YOKE converter. That lets you have the best of both worlds.

The simple answer is YOKE. Even DIN tanks have insert to screw in.
(I have a DIN set and in some countries like Thailand and Caribbean had to revert to an adapter however where I work we have DIN which is inherently better so I keep it like this)
