Dove Waldo lake last weekend for the first time. It was awesome. The bloodsuckers (mosquitos)were a little thick on land, but the water was beautiful!!! Using my dry suit for the first time was also a plus. Looking forward to doing more exploring in this lake.
The rock wall in Shadow Cove was pretty cool. If you plan on diving Waldo, just practice good buoyancy control since the floor is quite fragile.

Where's Waldo (Lake)?
 
O.K., Waldo lake is in the Cascade Mts. It is above Oak Ridge, Oregon At 5879*. Excellent vis.
