Where to dive in Freeport, Grand Bahamas?

My husband and I have been looking at 2 places to dive in Freepoort, Grand Bahamas...Grand Bahama Scuba and Sunn Odyssey. Our hotel is within walking distance to the Sunn Odyssey but we want the best experience. Does anyone have any suggestions or used either of these guys? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks )

Dove with Fred & Melinda @ Grand Bahama Scuba. They are very lay back (like everybody on the island) and treated us right. We r experienced divers and they were happy to point us in the right direction and leave us alone. It was great. They know their dive sites and the area really well. They had some new divers on board and Melinda took really good care of them. Make sure you do the shark dive and the cavern dives (senote) at Owl's Hole and Ben's Cave with Shamie Rolle @ calabash eco tours. He works with Grand Bahama Scuba and gives you the same personalized service that Fred & Melinda do.

I don't think that you would go wrong with Grand Bahama Scuba. They are quite laid back as well as you avoid the commercialism aspect of UNEXSO. However if you really want to see and experience a unique dive, then Calabash Eco Adventures is a must. You can look at his site on the web. Shamie is a local and has been diving for over 20 years there. He isn't someone that has transplanted living there temporarily for a few years. You will love Owl's Hole and Ben's Cave. In addition to that he also offers other tours that will leave you wanting more.

We just returned from there last week and are already dying to return. Have fun!
