want to buy a DS4 ATX or TX50

I figured on buying from Diveinn but they don't seem to be as cheap as they were anymore. Even Leisure Pro seems to be cheaper (tho i am not sure they have the model I want).

Any suggestions other places to try?

eBay. There's several there now.

Simply Scuba in the U.K. Good prices and great service. Plus there's a 10% discount running now on everything. You must enter a code number, which I happen to have. :)

Before you rush out and get an Apeks, you might want to compare them against the others:

My LDS has an awesome selction and they usually match alot of prices. Message me if you want to know thier site address or phone # They even carry apeks

The last place I'm going to turn to for a Regulator review is Rodale's.

Apeks is a great brand, and for the money, I don't know if you can beat a DS4 with an ATX or TX50 combo. It's an excellent choice.

I'm remotely curious what you have against Apeks that would make you want to even consider other choices - especially from - (giggle) - Rodales!

Is this in regards to that lawsuit with the maker of Force Fins? As I recall, Rodales won that lawsuit.

And by the way, how is your magazine doing? <chuckle>

The 2003 reg issue is out and Apeks got top marks! Go figure!! Even Rodales reviews can be useful when comparing equipment. As long as theres $$ involved in diving equipment, there will never be a truly objective review.

I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Can you help me out here?

All I'm saying is that Apeks are solid regulators, and that Rodales is hardly an authoritative source on what sort of belly button lint to collect, much less Scuba Gear. Their inconsistencies are atrocious.

If you're implying I'm in some way connected to a competitor, I have no affiliation with any publication, of any sort, other than a monthly newsletter I publish for my PR consulting firm. To suggest otherwise is just plain ignorant at best, and libelous at worst.
