Hello everyone. I have an older, off brand, jacket BC that needs a new inflator valve. I've searched a bunch of sites so far, and come up with nada. Since I don't even know who made this thing, where could I get a good valve to fit to it? Is the fitting on the shoulder of most BCs the same size and thread? If I need to replace the whole hose assy. that's fine, but I want something that's a proven design and will be easy to operate with thick gloves. Thanks!!

If I were you, I'd take it in to the dive shop rather than trying to find the parts and fix it myself.

:cop_2: Well well well, we have a forum violation here! You know the rules. Assume the position.

If, on the otherhand, you feel mechanically inclined enough to know which end of a screwdriver to hold and want to avoid the hearing how your only option is a new BC, start by looking at www.istsports.com, under H/W Acc. If it's just your inflator valve, maybe these will work. BTW, any differences with issues such as a pull dump mechanism can be overcome by disabling them.
