First of all, I know from many trips to Ireland (and Scotland too) , most Irish do not consider themselves part of "Europe", but I have to work with the categories here.....

Do any of our members from Ireland or Scotland know where I can go on line and HEAR actual Gaelic proverbs or sayings spoken? I have Googled the subject and not been successful

I would appreciate any links that you know of that will meet my needs.

thanks...rich

Seadeuce, that is a great site. Just what I was looking for. Afraid it will take me some time to translate the question.....unless you are feeling merciful and will help me out.

It means "Do you understand?"

And as you have seen, you do!

Last time I was in NC there wasn't too much Gaelic spoken in "them thar hills"

Y'all hurry back now!!
