Hi

This is not a sales thread, just not sure what this is worth now?

I have an ikelite housing and sony trv33 camcorder, spare batteries and wide angle lense that I want to sell, what do you think it is worth?

cheers

IMHO not much. It's an older Mini-DV camera in an HD world in a proprietary discontinued Ikelite housing that only works with several similarly aged models.

If someone wanted a used starter system they might give you a couple hundred dollars? The camera has fire wire (i-Link) so video capture would be easy to any of the sub-$100 editing programs. But the output would be DV, not HDV so wouldn't be the best on a big screen HDTV - ok for Youtube etc..

For comparison a new Canon HD model including their housing can be purchased for around $800 total.

Cheers for the heads up, didnt really think it was worth much, just dont really want it sitting around doing nothing really
