I have a little mix that I listen to when I am getting ready to dive. Here is my mix of happy sunshine music:

Beatles-Octopuses Garden
Bob Marley-Trenchtown Rock
Michael Jackson- PYT (despite his extreme weirdness his early stuff was great)
Rolling Stones-Dead Flowers
Jimmy Buffet-Grapefruit Juiceyfruit
Daft Punk-Digital Love
Black Crowes-Midnight From The Inside Out
Led Zeppelin-The Ocean
Van Halen-Dance The Night Away
Oasis-Slide Away
Prince-I Could Never Take The Place of Your Man
Snoop-Ain't No Fun (If The Homies Can't Have None)
Led Zeppelin-Houses of the Holy
Blur-Charmless Man
Cody ChesnuTT-Look Good In Leather
Bob Marley-Jamming (extended version)
Peter Tosh-Til Your Well Runs Dry
Gregorry Isaacs-Stranger In Town
Beatles-Love Me Do
Ryan Adams-Chin Up Cheer Up

And it will be interesting to see the age of everyone in relation to their music. I am 19

We play "Divers Do It Deeper" by david allen cole in our OW classes. There is a good seinfeld bit on diving too.

If DAC gets anymore edgy he'll fall off. I like "Long Haired Redneck" but most of his music I would be embarrassed to have in my collection. Whoa! Talk about racist.

Well when i am in the car for the 3 hour comute to Gilboa in north western ohio I usually listen to The Gourds (who i will be seeing live in just a matter of hours). Of course now that I upgraded the CD player in my car I have about 25 disc full of MP3's in my car so I can listen to anything in my cd collection.

I always thought John Denver's "Calypso" would be good diving music, since it was dedicated to Capt. Jacques Cousteau and the crew of the Calypso.

Here are a few ideas; I got a couple of them

The one by Everclear is actually called "Santa Monica," not "The Breakers"

just being nit-picky....LOL

Also, Enya's "Orinoco Flow" is my favorite song by her -- I wish I could go diving in all the waterways she mentions in the song.

Ocean diving:

Jimmy Buffett, Bob Marley

Cave Diving:

Metallica, Rob Zombie (gotta keep the scooters happy)

Always Jimmy Buffett or Bob Marley
but any calypso, or anything with a little carribean soul is good too:)
