I’m currently working on pre-production on a film project for a client, and a big part of the film is shot on a coral reef. I’m wanting to get footage somewhere that has really healthy reefs, but I’m somewhat limited by budget. My thought has been to go to the Philippines as I can get myself and crew there for a little over $1000 USD per ticket. Does anyone know how healthy the reefs there are? Any specific places to check out/avoid? Any other options that won’t break the bank?
