Expatriate - someone living in a foreign country. Eg me from Australia living in the United States for a couple of years.

It is short for expatriate and it can mean:
1. someone who has been exiled from their homeland
2. someone who has renounced their homeland
3. someone who is living away from their homeland
4. someone no longer called Pat
