I found your site about a week ago, I haven't posted much, I've been playing the voyeur to your site. I realized I have forgotten communication skills unless its work related. The reason I'm finally writing is I couldn't sleep... thinking about what I was today. I was a mom, a painter, a cook, a negotiator between hostile siblings, a neurologist to a friend who is upset over a break-up and on and on.....I haven't had time to dive lately so I been a voyeur on your dives and lives.. thank you. Tell me what you were today.....take time to think of all the people you were today :06:

Welcome to ScubaBoard!

I was a carpenter most of the day. I'm rebuilding a dry rotted termite banquet of a shed on the back of my garage. It's not that big (only 4' x 20') but the roof is new and I'm rebuilding everything below that. Now that I've got the roof temporarily supported, so I'll tear the walls and floor out on Monday. I forgot how much work it can be.

Oh, and I was a tool guy. I had to assemble and calibrate my new miter saw. :eyebrow:

I guess I was a weatherman because I kept telling everyone how hot it was. :11:

Of course, I was/am a ScubaBoard member saying, "Hi" to nice people like yourself to help them feel welcome. :crafty:

Dive safe!

Tell me what you were today.....
Let's see - Since my day started shortly after midnight my time, I'll start then. Today, both at work and off duty, I was:
A medic.
A navigator.
A chaplain.
A supervisor.
A secretary.
A janitor.
A failure.
A farrier.
A horse trainer.
A dog mom.
A travel consultant.
A ScubaBoard moderator.

Thanks for the welcome. Time to start the day and see who I'll be today. I'm taking a much needed day off and going to our camp on the river and visit with by brother, home for 2 weeks from Iraq. Hopefully today...I'll just be a bum.

For a couple of hours today I was Lance Armstrong.
Then I was a plumber and a carpenter. Bad ones, even.

a slacker
a scubaboard reader
a grumpy co-worker
a confused co-worker

And all this before noon :)

So far, I've been a copy editor and printer and a moderator....later on, there is a distinct possibility I will be a slacker.
