Hi all, I have a question for you. I'm going to the Riviera Maya in mid March, and I don't know what kind of exposure protection to wear. I generally tolerate cold well, but don't know what to expect. Any help would be appreciated.

I have dived down there in late January/early February and wore a 3 mm full wetsuit. I might have been able to get away with a shorty, but I prefer the extra protection. When I dove the cenotes, as I didn't have anything heavier, I actually put another 3 mm over my wetsuit, as the water temps (mostly fresh water) were much cooler than the Caribbean Ocean. I hope this helps. I head down to Cozumel in late February for a break...

If you are planning to dive the cenotes, they usually run about 76-78 F degrees. Ocean is much warmer...I want to say in the 80-85 range....
