Basically, the subject is the title. Those of you who have a WP-DC90 housing for your Canon A620, which strobe are you using? I've been following the threads for a bit and noticed that some have said that they use a modded Ikelite tray, some don't -- I'd like to do it without cutting if possible. In fact, some have said that you DON'T use the strobe and use the flash with the WP-DC90's diffuser. True, or no?

I live in sunny Northwest Florida where the weather is quite hot and the water is not super murky, if that'll make a difference.

Or, shall I just forget the Canon housing and go with Ikelite's? I sort of would like to stay with the camera's manufacturer, I guess, but I'd like to know before I spend lots of money on a housing.

Thanks!

I now have an ikelite housing (so that I could use wet lenses) but I attach the strobe the same way I attached it when I was using the canon housing. I have the inon d-2000 and I clip the fiber optic cord to the flash diffuser. I use those small black binder/clip thingies but they do rust so I use a thick cutout of plastic in between the diffuser and the clip.
