So, I got some good info on my other thread, now I am trying to decide what to do.
I am hoping there are some othe experienced SB members who have done a similar cruise.
Carnival Valor - November 28th
1 Miami, Florida --- 4:00 p.m.
2 At Sea --- ---
3 George Town, Grand Cayman 7:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m.
4 Roatan (Isla Roatan), Bay Islands, Honduras 11:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m.
5 Belize City, Belize 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
6 Cozumel, Mexico 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
7 At Sea --- ---
8 Miami, Florida 8:00 a.m. ---

So what I am looking for is this:
1. Should I dive all spots?
2. Should I dive only a few?

I have been to Coz before, but not the others, so i was going to dive there no matter what. I hear that the diving while on a cruise is not that great in Belize cause the good dive spots are farther away (plus I dont see diving an option on Carnival website). I am only in Isla Roatan for a few hours.

So with this cruise, based on time of year and the dive spots they will take you, what do you think I should do?
Now, I do like to snorkel, for some reason I love looking at fish in shallow water. So if one place is not better for diving, how about snorkel?
I am an experienced diver, and I love diving with a lot of marine life.
I think there is a shark dive I saw while searching the board tonight on Isla, I would have to book with someone on the island for that I believe.

I think my wife wants to go hiking in Belize, so I may have to cut that out of the options, unless Isla has better hiking???

So many factors. I just dont want to go dive somewhere, see no marine life and just be disappointed.

I can comment on the Caymans. Georgetown is on the west side of GC. The best diving is on the east side. However there is decent diving on the west and NW sides of GC. I have used Indigo Divers. I like them because they are a small diveop and run a six pack boat. Their boat is at the north end of Seven Mile Beach. They pickup at hotels on the west side and I'd expect that they would pickup at the cruise pier. Here is their web site.

Cayman Islands diving, Cayman divers, Indigo Divers

You're right on Belize. The only way to see the best sites are by liveaboard IMO. Go hiking.
