Built my pony bottle from a AL30. but I need some bands to keep the regulator hose snugg. What size inner tube should I get? I just bought a x 1.75 - 2.25 and that is way to small. Before I invest another $4.00 can someone give me a clue. Thanks

Do not buy... go to tire shop and ask them where they dump the crappy inner tube... tubes from small trailer tires and wheelbarrow tires are the inner tubes you need. try 4.80 / 4 on an eight-inch rim... if you do have to purchase new... the cave diving department of Home Depot.

If my wife every knew that Home Depot had a diving dept she would never let me go there again!!!! Thanks for the info!!!

I fondly remember the days where going to Lowe's or Home Depot was a regular part of my post-dive gear maintenance. It's so much easier now, when I need a new light cord I just call Joel and arrange to meet him for lunch.

And Joel knows some keen places to eat!!

You around at Thanksgiving, Ken. Hope to see you.

I find inner tubes difficult to get my fingers under when wearing gloves (which is pretty much always). I find bungies with a plastic ball on them (e.g. like the ones you can get on a tank banger) much easier to pull back when I need to restow a hose.

yeah, I was going to also suggest tying up some bungie. The big knots are easy to grab...

Just to be clear, we're talking the US Thanksgiving in November and not that fake one you guys have earlier, right? :)

Yup, I'll be around. I have a full cave class running Friday-Monday then an advanced cave/stage on Tuesday and Wednesday.
