What reg is this and is it acceptable for cold water diving?

I bought this first stage regulator a while back and I just need help identifying what model it is, or at least the question, would this be ok to use on a pony rig in colder waters, not freezing, but great lakes diving cold. Any help would be appreciated!!!!

The little bit of info I can give you to help identify it is it says US Divers on it and there is an engraved ED1383 on it.

Looks like an Aqualung Calypso to me.
It ought to make a fine pony reg imho.
