Hello all, I have a PARAMINA MISTRAL 6 EM compressor that has a pre-installed PMV, allegedly set at 120 bar. However, I am interested in checking that it is indeed set at 120 bar. When I open the fill whip and start the compressor, air starts to flow after a few seconds but the pressure gauge at the whip reads 0. Does this mean that the PMV is set at 0 or am I measuring this pressure wrong? I do not have any other pressure gauge on my compressor to check. Hoping a photo of the compressor shows up below:

You need a pressure gauge on the filter tower before the PMV to read what the PMV is set at. Leave the filter tower under pressure to save the filter.

Example.. mine is set @ 2200psi.. so my tower will never be below that. It can be higher after filling but I usually bleed it off back down to ~ 2200psi or so when I'm done for the day.

Edit. August Industries can sell all the parts you need and are reasonable.
