Just wondering what type of physicians we have on this board? As a medical student and a passionate scuba diver, I enjoy getting to know folks who enjoy the same two passions. What's your speciaty? Diver before becoming a doctor or doctor before becoming a diver? Thanks

Dad taught me to dive...he used to MAKE his gear! Started freediving at 7 years old.

*sigh*. I need to move to FL. I can't even convince my local dentist ( no matter how many references I bring him) that there might be some nasty resuts when I dive if he's not carefull with the dental work

What exactly is it that your dentist is doing?

Short of being downright sloppy, most dental care is not going to result in a dive problem.

BTW, I was born in Miami and so, I've simply returned home.
