Thanks for the reminder. It is unfortunate -- both the accident and the implication from the title that it is a problem with Bonaire. Slippery shoes are a well-known problem anywhere, not just flipflops and not just dive docks and not just Bonaire. But people will wear them anyway. A fellow on one of my trips tore his Achilles tendon on his first giant stride off the boat...in Bonaire. Accidents happen. DAN accident insurance is mandatory on my trips.
