I assume the potential is mostly for wide angle stuff. Based on what I read the options for macro are more limited. Do I have that right?

Thanks,

JD

not at all, the wide angle stuff are there opposite to many other sites that is why people talk about it a lot, however the macro exists and is even prettier than most of other sites especially the brothers reef is full and healthy, but again you can have this (with an acceptable degradation) in other sites that are much near to the shore so why lose the opportunity of wide angles (big pelagics)?
another factor is the current, it is not always favorable conditions with slow current to enable you to have macro shots.
my 2 cents.
