Hello all.

What is this transparent box carried hanging on left hip hooked to belt. (Reflecting light at certain moments)

Seems to me an intercom transceiver ¿? , connects to mic at the full face mask. Any brand you may recognize ? May be japanese; searching Japan did not find such.
(Just saw the program on TV)

At 25:19 it appears to be a battery pack for a video camera. There is a cable between the two.

A mystery to me; at 0:06 and 5:28 briefly saw connection to mask-left; no camera.
At 5:56, 6:23, 6:44, 7:29 there is no camera being carried during that dive, and the thinghy is there, connected.

The dive at 25:19 does carry a camera.

Probably the transceiver for the underwater comms. OTS has something similar that is waist-mounted. It's used in lieu of the mask-mounted buddy phone.

After looking at it more closely, it's definitely the transceiver for their FFM comms. The cable goes to the mask, on the left side there's a round yellow port. That's the port for the mic. The cable goes from the mic to the belt pack.
