I'm looking to sell equipment from early 1990's. How can I find out what it's worth?
Women's Gear:
Tank - 63 cu ft Luxfer with Sherwood 5000 valve - last hydro in the 90's - date stamped in tank says 10/89 - is that the manufacture date? Is this an aluminum tank?

Women's Custom Henderson 1/4" Wetsuit - fit size small/medium
Gloves
Hoodie
Regulator - Sherwood Blizzard SRB3200
Gauges - Sherwood
Weights - Gray rubber coated lead weights with red belt - 27 lbs.

Men's Gear:
Tank - 80 cu ft Sherwood - last hydro in the 90's
Buoyancy Compensator (BC) US Divers Cousteau Size Large (L)
Men's Henderson Large 1/4" Wetsuit
Gloves
Hoodie
Regulator - US Divers Pro Diver with Octopus
Gauges - Sherwood
Weights - Gray rubber coated lead weights with red belt - 31 lbs.
Weights - Lead weights with yellow belt - 20 lbs.

Custom Reel, Cord and Tire Tube

Thank you!
How much should I expect per pound for the lead?
Are the tanks usable?

Buck a pound would be good.

The tanks are usable by a very select group of us who don't mind the risk of using possibly dangerous equipment. 20$ each would probably sell them.

Note, all the equipment may be actually usable and valuable to some of us as dive gear. But the majority option is it's nearly worthless except for novelty or sentimental value.

I just bought an old regulator set, BCD and gear for 40$ on craigslist today and intent on diving after inspection.

Regards,
Cameron

the 63s were switched to 6061 in may 1988, so if 10/89 is the original hydro then it is ok and the sherwood 80 is probably steel. but they aren't very desirable tanks, so you might only get 40 to 80 out of them since they are out of hydro.

Sorry 25+ year old gear belongs in a museum. Or a pawn shop.
