I think it runs on love.

Last I heard there were a few computers running scubaboard, at least one of which was built after 1990!

Seriously though ScubaBoard runs on a mini-cluster of Dual 2.6Ghz Xeon servers running FreeBSD as an OS.

Thanks. Can you tell me how many servers and how much memory in each?

There are two servers dedicated to handling web access and the data base and each have 3 Gigs of memory. There are two others handling other tasks such as e-mail and supporting sites and they have 2 gigs each. I spend more on servers every month than I do on my mortgage! :D
