What happened to the server?

The WV server has been down all day. My wife said there was a warning Notes from hambleto, but I didn't see it. Normal maint or big problem?

The site is back up as of last night. We changed to a new IP block and ran into some issues with the the new block and lines using a non standard MTU size... ugh..
