Another thread (the snorkel one, actually) got me to thinking...
What does DAN consider an accident as far as equipment coverage is concerned? More specifically, say I'm out in the ocean, get seperated from my buddy somehow, and I come across a diver on the bottom... face down, reg in, unresponsive, and -- DAMN IT -- not breathing.
I get us both to the surface where conditions require me to make short order of extricating us both from our rigs with my z-knife, and set to respirating this ******* that ruined my dive. I get him to a boat, get him onboard, and respiration prooves effective (doesn't really matter as far as my real question is concerned, I just like a happy ending). Cuz comes to and we all have rum and cookies.
BUT
Despite my having inflated both our BCs for retrival, it has been swept out to the open ocean to be found 8 years from now by a Malaysian shrimp trawler.
How would DAN reward my succesful rescue?
