Hi,
A couple of years ago snorkelling off the beech in Naples, Florida a number of rays were gliding in and out of the shallows. Another local guy was there and he commented that it was a great sight to see, and that as he was studying marine biology it would be great in his report. I asked him, "What to they eat", his reply was "popcorn"!

I see that you're not local, the rays here in Florida do eat popcorn, the fact that no one ever seen them eat popcorn will not affect us!

and on a realistic note, we've seen a ray of about 6 foot "wing span", this saturday morning, amazing creature... just poped up from the sand as we passed over it and flew away.. (we didn't touch it)
