What do I need to enable for the smiles to move

What do I need to enable for the smiles to move, on my explorer they don't move at all? Version 6 I think...

Some might use Flash, but I rather doubt it. Not all smilies move.

Are you using a firewall? That may also hinder movement.

the moving smilies are mostly (all?) animated GIFs, if you get the image at all I can't imagine why a firewall (or much of anything else) would prevent it from moving.

My firewall (ZoneAlarmPro) has a setting that will stop all animation.

interesting, I wonder how they do that. Let the base image through and strip out the rest of the images from the file?
