I have a trip coming up that involves a couple of long sumps, Cocklebiddy Cave. 1 km and 2.5km between rockpiles/air chambers that need to be traversed to continue on. Need to carry some gear dry to eat and stay warm.
We have a couple of dry tubes that have been around for a while. I have just finished making another one from a couple of failed ally cylinders. A couple of pics below, pretty happy with the outcome but it took me a long time. Just wondering how others have overcome this issue and how much success you had. What do you use? Do you make them? Get them made? Found somewhere to purchase something similar?
