All of us have seen sharks meandering about as we dive here and there. And you've all heard the DM say, "oh they wouldn't bother you a bit." However as those big dudes approach you have you ever wondered.............what are those sharks thinking about anyway? And if they aren't going to bother me then why are they swimming my way? Lerking about and just observing as if they are on some personal human research project? And in what part of the world are they more frisky than in others?

So all you shark experts.............give us your insight.

Happy Diving

I'm no shark expert, but for the most part all sharks worry about are eating and reproducing. So when that shark swims near you they are investigating to see whether your edible and whether or not your umm well....appropriate for shark reproduction.

Hm,

them swimming your way? Don't you think it's the opposite? You're swimming in their home...

I am not an expert, in fact I have never dove in the ocean. but my guess would be that there are some out there that know what we are and come up to us to see how bad they can scare us. Its probably a game to some sharks. LOL!!

Probably asking themselves whether you would tase good on your own or if you need ketchup.

Absolutely nothing.

Shark psychology.... Angel Fish.... Trigger Fish.... Parrot Fish.... *** is that ugly awkward looking thing over there, I'll have a look, think it might be injured judging by the way it's flailing it's fins and blowing bubbles, but best not get too close, it might be dangerous... it just looked at me... hmm wonder what it's thinking, looks similar to the one I saw yesterday, but this one's blue and red with an orange sticky up tube thing, the other one was yellow with a green tube, must be a different species.
