Its a species of sole, spring sole I think... Where did you see it at?

I've seen them at Ginnie, Royal, an several other springs in the cave country area.
 
There were two of them just outside the entrance to the cavern at Ginnie. Here's another pic.
 
Hello,

this is Achirus lineatus (Freshwater Flounder) they are very common in areas with good filtration, sand and the like. They are detritivores.

They are everywhere at Manatee Springs, especially along the run and in the basin near the run.

I have to get my tanks in for hydro this weekend. I keep missing diving too much. I will just have to sneak out when I visit family over Christmas and take a quick dip in Manatee or Ginnie. I suppose I could even find the yoke attachments for my regs and rent tanks. I also have to get my regs serviced. It's only been 2 and a half years since I actually got wet! :eek:

"Yeah, we've only seen each other 4 times in the past 3 years, but I haven't seen Manatee at ALL in the last 5 years! See ya!"
