Has anyone ever been in this area "Bahía de los Ángeles, Baja California, Mexico" for the Whale Sharks? I found an outfit that does Whale Shark Tours in late season from late Aug to the end of Oct. I figure since this place is very remote, and hard to get to, that this would be a great place for photographing whale shark without a great deal of divers/snorkelers in every image.

I would really appreciate any ideas, recommendations, suggestions for this experience.

I have been there twice. On the Rocio Del Mar. Both times had fantastic Whale Shark experiences. While there are other boats around, they never crowd the whale sharks since they only allow a certain number of divers with each whale shark. The whale sharks tend to be swimming so you will need to swim/fin to keep up with them. I have great pics of them without people in them.

I just got back from a trip there on the Rocio Del Mar. Ww saw and snorkeled with about 4-5 whale sharks during a five-hour outing. We had a total of three pangas and I think all had about the same results. I got photos both with and without divers in the picture. Remember that having a diver in your photo (at least some of them) will give your non-diver audience a sense of how big these animals really are.

AZTinman, thanks for the information. However the link you supplied doesn't seem to work.
